Book 3 Chapter 26 - Chapter 27 Summary

Bourne and Villiers are walking together around a lake near Villiers house. Villiers is thinking about what he has learned, he it explains many things he previously did not want to question. He knows his wife has betrayed him. He says his wife and he are often apart, she frequently travels around Europe. Villiers is embarrassed he has been duped and feels has been part of a plan from the beginning. He starts to compare dates and places to the date of assassination and realizes she was with Carlos when he committed the execution. He wants to kill his wife. Bourne convinces him not to, they need to use her to find Carlos, the man who is really responsible for his son's death. Villiers reluctantly agrees and the men start to put together a plan.
