Book 2 Chapter 21 Summary

Chapter 21 shifts back to Paris with Bourne and St. Jacques. They quickly leave the hotel, knowing they need to get out of the city before someone recognizes St. Jacques from the newspaper. They take a series of taxis to throw off any one following them. Bourne also has St. Jacques change her appearance with makeup and a new hairstyle. Finally, they end up at the Auberge du Cain. This is a hotel in a run down area where few questions will be asked by the hotel staff. They register with fake names. When they finally settle down in the hotel room, they have time to think. St. Jacques thinks she has figured out a plan. She believes the newspaper story has been planted so she is forced to contact the Canadian Embassy. She feels sure someone is trying get in contact...
