The Beast's Castle

The large, imposing castle is situated on top of the tallest mountain in the kingdom. The location is meant to be a statement of the importance of this setting. In the opening scene, the Beast feels the castle looks menacing because of the curse. The castle is huge. The Beast spends a lot of time in the West Wing, and that is where he keeps the rose that signals the end of his chance to return to humanity.
