Summary

As Apollo attempts to strangle Evangeline, she remembers the lever by her bed that Chaos pulled to trap her in a cage when she nearly became a vampire. Evangeline pulls it, trapping Apollo and letting Evangeline go. Hearing the noise of the falling cage, Jacks rushes in and moves to attack Apollo, but Evangeline stops him, reminding Jacks of her and Apollo's mirroring curse.

In their state of heightened adrenaline, with Evangeline nearly having died, Jacks explains why he needs all four stones. When they are all united, he will be able to travel back in time, just once. When Evangeline questions why he would want to do that, Jacks shuts down, and tells her emotionlessly that he wants to go back to the moment he met Princess Donatella. This news is crushing for Evangeline, who has now developed full-blown feelings for Jacks...
