Caraval Overview

Stephanie Garber's Caraval is the story of Scarlett Dragna, a young woman who wants to find a way to keep herself and her sister, Tella, safe, even though that means she is going to marry a complete stranger. Before the wedding, Tella convinces Scarlett to travel to Caraval, an elaborate, magical game where the winner is to receive a wish. There, Scarlett faces all kinds of challenges, but eventually finds and saves Tella and falls in love with a performer named Julian, though the game may not be finished with them even after all that.
