Sacrifice

A very prominent theme in The Atlantis Gene is that of sacrifice. Many of the characters are willing to sacrifice themselves or the lives of others in order to gain the overall outcome they wish. Some characters have selfish reasons for the sacrifices and little thought for those they choose to destroy while others are willing to selflessly sacrifice themselves in order to save someone they love or the entire world.

Dr. Kate Warner loves the autistic children she is working with in Jakarta, Indonesia.
