Alice Ogilvie

Alice is a junior at Castle Cove High School and one of the narrators of the novel. Alice is a wealthy, popular girl with parents who emotionally abuse her and leave her with her nanny, Brenda, all through the year. During the summer before junior year, Alice’s boyfriend, Steve, breaks up with her because she is too bossy.
