Ashlar

A Taltos, he is immortal and has memories of times before the dawn of humans. His history includes a profession of Christian faith and chastity in the 1700s. He became known then as "St. Ashlar." Ash is virtually the last of his kind and feels lonely because of that. He is, like all Taltos, very tall and that fact makes him stand out in earlier centuries when most men were much shorter. In the modern day, Ash has become very wealthy through the manufacture of dolls. He has surrounded himself with people who accept his ways and protect his privacy though he knows that he will eventually have to leave them to make a new life for himself because they will realize that he doesn't age.
