Survival of the Richest is organized into an introduction and 13 chapters. All 14 of the sections are titled with both primary titles and subtitles. Rushkoff uses his titling system to guide his reader through the text. The subtitles are particularly informative in this manner. For example, Chapter 1 is titled “The Insulation Equation: Billionaire Bunker Strategies.” The primary title introduces the concept that Rushkoff will examine in the chapter's enclosed pages, while the subtitle offers a more accessible description of this concept. The chapter then delves into “the billionaire prepper” and his search for bunker-type structures outfitted with “guard dogs, surveillance cameras” and fences (15, 16).
