Summary

In Chapter 35, Chief Dobeck confronts Andrea at her house about contaminating the crime scene. Andrea tells Chief Dobeck she knows Satku was murdered to “silence his family from fighting with the township about their pool permit” (252). Chief Dobeck dismisses the allegations and leaves. Andrea calls and tells Kenny what happened and Kenny goes to meet Benjamin at Buffalo Wild Wings. Kenny warns Benjamin about getting sucked into the conspiracy. Benjamin is drunk and yells at Kenny and knocks Kenny on the floor. Office Luke Olsen intervenes on Benjamin’s behalf.

Chapter 36 returns to Andrea who is at the community pool with the Cellulitists and her children. The police arrive and arrest Andrea “for obstructing a murder investigation” (258).
