Summary

In Episode 2, theme music introduces the next episode.

Before Stuntboy was Stuntboy, he “already had a supervillain” (61). The supervillain was Herbert Singletary the Worst, “the new kid in the building” (63). Before Herbert moved to Skylight Gardens, he lived in a house. Then Herbert’s mom “married a man who lived in Skylight Gardens,” and Herbert moved in, too (63).

When Portico first met Herbert, everyone called him Li’l Herby. Portico sat with him on a bench and offered to share his chips. He asked him questions about his life, but Li’l Herby did not respond. When Portico called Skylight Gardens a castle, Li’l Herby “started crying” (66). His mother called him inside. Herbert yelled at Portico for calling him Li’l Herby and “pushed Portico off the bench and onto the ground” (66).
