Chapter 6 Summary

Skink takes Max to a remote clearing where he allows him to ask a few questions. Max wants to know who Skink really is, learning he was once governor of Florida. Max asks why Skink kidnapped him and is told Skink was appalled by him videotaping the destruction. Finally, Max asks what happens now, and Skink tells him they will continue to travel together to learn a few life lessons.
