Summary

In Chapter 6, in a Cabinet meeting, Ellen considered that the members needed not only to develop trust with the American people, but also among themselves. The previous President had fired anyone who did not agree with him. Total loyalty to the President was demanded even if his ideas were uninformed or dangerous. However, when Williams asked Ellen what she could tell them about the bombs, she knew it was a sign that Williams was not ready to work on healing wounds.
