Chapters 22 through 24 Summary

The others are able to pull Sudi through the door to safety, and when they open it, the desert is gone and they see only a subway platform. As they leave the spa, they see the high priest near the entrance, but now he is wearing a suit, and he invites them to the new teen club called The Jackal that he is opening soon. Back at home, Sudi opens the cylindrical charm she took from the priest and finds a tiny papyrus with an oath from Seth cursing anyone who harms the priest. Entering her room, Sudi finds the window open, then someone grabs her around the waist.

In Chapter 23, Sudi finds that it is Scott who has come in through the window. He says he is confused about the day's earlier events and asks Sudi if she saved him...
