Summary

In Chapter Six, Lia is dreaming that she has finally given in to Shane, but becomes aware that he is hitting on her chest. He explains to her what has happened. She is in shock as he gathers supplies and leads her across the island. He sets up a tent and finds dry clothes. Lia is unable to get her fingers to cooperate, so Shane helps her undress. They warm each other under the blanket.

In Chapter Seven, Rafe arranges a compromise so that he rides with Ari to his house. He notices in the car on the way to his house that Ari still reacts to him. He feels certain that it is only a matter of time before she will give into him. At his house he serves her an old, expensive wine. As he watches her excitement in seeing...
