Summary

In Chapter Three, Rafe goes home where he studies up on the Civil War until Shane calls, complaining about Lia’s unwillingness to give him another chance. Although they are both having trouble with their women, both plan to win them back. When he hangs up the phone after talking to Shane, Rafe thinks of the situation in Paraguay that made him decide to do everything he needed to do to ensure he had Ari’s love. While in South America, he had befriended a couple expecting their first baby. He and Shane had worked long and hard to complete a home for them before the baby was born.
