Summary

In Chapter 26, Scythes Goddard, Chomsky, Rand, Volta, and Rowan feasted, though Rowan and Volta could not stomach much food. Rowan played cards with Esme. Rowan spotted Volta in his room crying. Rowan realized that Volta was not bad at heart, like Goddard’s other allies. Volta said he wanted to ally himself with the future of the Scythedom, not the past. In her gleaning journal, Scythe Curie acknowledged her fame. In Chapter 27, Citra arrived at the Harvest Conclave.
