Summary

In Chapter 14, Anya is asleep in the hospital waiting room on the shoulder of Yvonne's husband, Anya's Uncle Robert, who is (aside from Yvonne) Simon's closest friend. Simon and Robert embrace, sharing their worry. Simon finds Sam and Yvonne in Ingrid's room, though Anya is not allowed in because she is not yet 18. Simon has some time alone with Sam, and Sam admits that Paige came to see him. Sam's roommate, Carlos, had welcomed Paige, as if he could help save her.
