Summary

In Chapter 9, the siblings decided to sell Tyersall Park since none of them really wanted to live there. Alix calculated quickly that the house might be worth at least $2.8 billion. Ah Ling interrupted their conversation by giving them a proposal from Bright Star Properties. That company wanted to buy Tyersall Park for 1.88 billion dollars.

In Chapter 10, Kitty was horrified when she saw Colette on the newest issue of the Tattle. Kitty called Oliver who was equally surprised that Colette had usurped her. In her need to outrank Colette, Kitty ordered that Oliver get her a title. She threatened to fire him if he did not do what she wanted. Her threat frightened Oliver because it was Kitty’s retainer that was keeping him financially afloat.
