Black Mountain is within walking distance of Rees' family home. It is where his Grandparents lived and one of Rees' favorite places to pray. On top of Black Mountain is where Rees and Elizabeth dedicated their lives to building a bible college.

New Castle, Pennsylvania is where Rees first went to live in America with his cousin Evan. It is where Rees' salvation begins.

Llandrindod Wells Convention

The Llandrindod Wells Convention is a convention in Wales for those who want a deeper spiritual life similar to the English Keswick Convention. It is while Rees is attending the Convention that the Holy Spirit enters Rees, and he becomes an Intercessor. Rees would later return to the Convention as a speaker.
