Loving an Outcast Summary and Analysis

Rees learns not only the proper way to pray but also the power of prayer. The first recipient of blessings from Rees' new prayer life is Will Battery. While there is not much in common between them, Rees becomes Will's close friend. After Will disappears and then returns at Christmas, Rees guides the young man through a transformation that takes Will back to his mother.

Then the Holy Spirit leads Rees to pray for Jim Stakes. Jim needs money in order to be delivered from his life of sin. Rees gives from his personal finances and Jim and his wife both receive more than just money; they receive the gift of salvation and in turn open their home for prayer meetings.
