Summary

In Chapter 12, headquarters pushed Nate for more information about Dominika. Both Forsyth and Gable offered advice about recruiting Dominika, whom headquarters has given the code name DIVA. Gable warned Nate not to sleep with her until he had successfully recruited her. Nate asked what to do if things got emotional and Gable warned Nate that it was unheard of for a case officer to fall in love with his agent.

Meanwhile, Dominika was being reprimanded by Volontov because she was not providing information about Nate fast enough. She assured Volontov that she would be able to interpret from Nate’s activities if he was preparing for an operation. Dominika blew up when Volontov suggested she make Nate emotionally dependent on her. She was tired of references to Sparrow School.
