Section 11: Chapter 12 and Eleventh Picture Summary

In chapter twelve, Hollis thinks about Izzy, the Old Man and Steven one morning, wondering if they still think about her like she thinks of them, though she tries not to think of that terrible afternoon anymore. She has hung pictures on the walls during the past few days, and she wonders what the Regans would think if she left them there when she leaves in the spring.
