Section 7: Seventh Picture and Chapter 8 Summary

Seventh Picture, Izzy, shows Izzy flipping pancakes, and not meaning to be sneaky, Hollis goes around the side of the house to give it to Izzy. One afternoon, Izzy and Hollis walked up the hill to the cemetery where Izzy's parents are buried, and Izzy mentioned how she wanted more children but it never happened after her parents died. Hearing the Old Man yelling at Steven, Hollis asks if it is always like this, and Izzy admits it is worse this summer, but "they have to find their own way" (p. 69).
