Summary

In Chapter 13, Mila considers her job for the day to be a translator, like her father. Only she says she will be translating from American to English and vice versa. They will be driving to Matthew’s camp. It will take about seven hours. Suzanne tells them about a picturesque road they can take. Mila thinks her suggestion that they take the scenic route is strange. As she is taking her suitcase to the car Honey comes up behind Mila and touches her. Suzanne quickly suggests they take the dog with them. Before Gil can refuse Suzanne has Honey’s things in the car.
