The National Museum of the Fine Arts

It is while looking at the painting Spoliarium that Jay asks Maning what really happened to Jun. Jay had been trying all afternoon to work up the courage to confront his uncle. When he is standing in front of this painting of a scene that reminds him of the pictures he has seen of the drug wars, Jay asks the question before he has realized what he is asking.

Tito Maning’s Office

Jay sneaks into his uncle’s office hoping to locate the letters that he believes Maning stole from him. Jay does not find the letters but he does find a note that lists Jun as a drug dealer. When Angel enters the office and shows Jay where his father hides the key to his desk, Jay realizes that his young cousin is rebellious, just like her brother was.
