Summary

Chapter 18

In Chapter 18, Evan finds Emma. He wants her to let out all of her emotions and stop fighting them. She will not cry for her mother. She feels she does not deserve her tears. Her mother chose to end her life, and Emma will not cry for her now after all the pain she caused her in her life. Evan takes Emma to Sara’s house where people have gathered after the funeral. She goes immediately upstairs with the burger and fries they bought on the way because Emma was starving. Emma apologizes to Sara for her behavior over the past two days.
