Chapter 18 Summary

In this scenario, Richard leaves his alternate in the hotel room talking to the alternate Leslie. Richard hugs Leslie, and since he can't reach the throttle, she does. The plane begins to take off and the plane crashes. When Leslie comes to, Richard is pulling various items out of the plane, including Leslie. Leslie watches them rescue her and sees a warm loving light. She sees an old friend, Hy Feldman, and hugs him. He had died three years ago and had been like an older brother to her.

Hy wants Leslie to come with him because there is someone else waiting to see her, but she wants to go back to Richard. Hy tells Leslie that she is dead and that there is a reason for the crash. Richard has something to learn that he can't learn with Leslie. Leslie recognizes her...
