Summary

In Chapter 41, Tessa feels relaxed in the hospital. Her family is safe, and she does not have to do anything. Fenton visits the next morning. He admits that they would not have found them. It turns out that Marian’s Swiss account was emptied on the day they were kidnapped. Tessa explains that they were under suspicion for something they did not do and describes Eamonn. Fenton thinks that MI5 had another informer who they thought was more valuable than Tessa and Marian. Tessa thinks about what Eamonn said about the greater good and how he had almost kissed her.
