Summary

Charlie takes his music exam and realizes he has not spoken to Nick for two weeks. Charlie goes out for dinner with his friends to Simply Italian and tries to relax and join in the merriment, but he is miserable inside. He looks at Tao and wonders how his friend is dealing with the breakup from Elle, but he does not want to ask him in fear of bringing up a difficult subject. Toward the end of the dinner, Aled asks Charlie if he has spoken to Nick. Charlie admits that he has not, but he insists that the two have definitely broken up. Aled expresses disbelief and says that he always thought Nick and Charlie were the best proof of soulmates of anyone he has ever known.
