Summary

In Chapter 1, Che tells his reader that it is his job to keep his ten-year-old sister Rosa under control. Even though she looks like a doll with her blonde curls, blue eyes and dimples, Che believes his sister will do anything she can get away with. He thinks it is his job to keep her under control. Rosa talks to him about things like setting the plane on which they are riding on fire. Even though Rosa says she misses Bangkok Che does not believe his sister misses anything. She says she misses her best friend Apinya but Che knows that Apinya does not miss Rosa, especially after what Rosa made her do.
