Summary

Hannah boards her flight from New York to Los Angeles. When the plane starts taking off, she notices the woman next to her is nervous. To distract her, Hannah tells her about her life. She is from Los Angeles, but has moved from city to city for years. Her family “moved to London when [she] was sixteen,” and she decided not to go with them (3). She has been searching for a place to call home ever since (4).
