Summary

In “1:00 p.m.,” Jay suggested that they all go out surfing together. Even though he did not know what else would happen that day, he did know it was the last day they would all surf together.

In “1962,” Mick asked June to marry him again. He promised never to hurt her again. June was pregnant with Kit within a year. Even though Nina did not trust her father, Mick managed to win her over. He admitted to her that she was his favorite. Sometimes he woke her up early so they could fly a kite together. A year later when Mick was performing in Atlantic City, however, he was distracted by a backup singer and never flew home.
