In "Eyes Have It," City knew if he were in "the movies or a dumb book," he could find Shalaya and Evan by searching for their footprints, but there were no footprints around (58). He found the Freedom School, a building that was a community center in 1985. Inside, there were three men dressed like "people in the Klan" (59). They tried taking City’s computer and book.
