Chapter Seventeen through Chapter Nineteen Summary

Chapter Seventeen finds Jemima excited as she hits LA, but she also realizes she is afraid Brad won't like her. She still feels like a heavy person in a thin body, and feels unattractive. She meets a man in the airport who asks her if she is interested in movies, but he isn't Brad, and appears to just be a guy hitting on her. When Brad does arrive, he is gorgeous, and thinks the same of JJ, and she knows she is enough for him as they leave together. JJ, for the first time, feels lust for someone, and everyone watches them together, as they make almost too perfect of a couple.
