Summary

After dropping Toby off for class at the beginning of Chapter 13, Georgina skipped school to go see Willy. When she got there, she heard a man’s voice singing from the back of the house. He heard her jump behind a bush and called out to ask if the person he heard was scared of him or if he should be scared of that person. Then he called out to ask if the dog belonged to the person hiding in the bush. Since Georgina didn’t answer, the man hollered that he and the dog were sharing a can of sardines and offered some to the hidden stranger, Georgina.
