Summary

In Chapter 20, Fox and Hannah left the recording studio. He realized that he was in love with Hannah, but he was terrified of what this meant. He decided to surprise her by taking her to the Sound Garden art installation on Lake Washington, which was empty because of the rain. He had wanted to take her the previous summer, but he did not want her to know how much he liked her. He told her he wanted to try to be with her because he could not imagine life without her. They kissed and had sex in the car.

In Chapter 21, Fox woke up the next morning with Hannah in his bed. He worried about leaving on his ship for five days and returning to find Hannah packing up and taking the bus back to Los Angeles. He hated the idea...
