Summary

The novel is narrated in third-person past with focalized narration for Hannah and Fox. However, in the prologue, a series of text messages between Hannah Bellinger and Fox Thornton are presented. Both characters were minor characters in the previous Bellinger Sisters novel in which Hannah’s sister, Piper, and Fox’s best friend, Brendan, fell in love. In September, just a week after the previous novel ended, Hannah texts Fox and thanks him for leaving her a Fleetwood Mac vinyl that he left for her before she left Westport, Washington to return to her job as a production assistant in Los Angeles. In the previous novel, Hannah and Fox had attended a record expo together while Piper and Brendan had a romantic date in Seattle. Hannah had wanted the Fleetwood Mac album, but she and her sister had been cut off...
