Nicholas does not understand what is happening to his wife. Paige has become a ghos,t and she does not seem to know what to do with Max. Nicholas is afraid Paige is suffering from postpartum depression. Nicholas comes home from work one night and finds Paige still in her nightgown. When Nicholas offers to watch the baby so Paige can sleep, Paige laughs when he asks her what to do for the baby.
