Summary

Crosley’s ex-boyfriend contacts the seller and asks to see the Rolex in person. The seller is reluctant but eventually agrees, giving him an address in the diamond district in Manhattan. He attended the location and reported back to Crosley that it was a very suspicious and shady place. The two people there had no idea who he was and denied any knowledge of the meeting that had been arranged to view the Rolex. There was a safe, but nothing on view that the ex-boyfriend could identify as Crosley’s necklace. He left emptyhanded. Crosley resolves to go there herself, which the ex-boyfriend counsels against, worried she might get shot. Crosley confidently asserts that she will not get shot.
