Summary
Richard brings Osarobo to his house to play the piano. As Richard and Osarobo walk to Richard's house, Richard asks Osarobo if he knew that a war happened in Germany. Osarobo says he does not. Richard decides not to tell Osarobo about the Holocaust, knowing that he will probably learn about it in his own time, and that there is no need to force that dark moment in history onto someone who has already suffered enough in his own life, but does explain that Berlin was divided. Richard, himself, was originally from East Berlin.
When they get to Richard's house, it becomes clear that Osarobo has never played the piano before. This is ok with Richard, who just lets him play around with it. Richard and Osarobo eat dinner together, before Osarobo leaves for the nursing home.
The next day, Richard begins working...
