Chapters 14 through 17 Summary

In Chapter fourteen, the following day is Saturday and Jacinda heads to Will's house, determined to get the t-shirt back. She knocks on the door and Will answers but he's obviously not happy she's there. Will would likely have sent her away but his father arrives at the door and invites Jacinda in, saying there's a cookout in progress and she's welcome to join. She accepts and as they eat the meal on the deck, members of the extended family question Jacinda.

Jacinda finds an opportunity to leave the group and makes her way upstairs, hoping to find Will's room and the stained t-shirt. She finds the shirt in his room and is trying to figure out what to do with it to get it out of the house when she realizes someone is coming. She rushes into the first room...
