Summary

Chapter 19 – James looks at Aimee as if he has never seen her before. Aimee is shocked and stunned. She begins to have a panic attack, which James helps her through. James insists his name is Carlos, and that Aimee must have him confused with someone else. Aimee leaves James behind to find Ian and tell him what has happened. She says the only difference between the James she knew and the James she saw is a little scarring in the face. Aimee considers that James might have amnesia, or no memory at all because he acted like a completely different person.

Chapter 20 – Aimee watches the man calling himself Carlos through the window of the gallery as he works inside before the opening, and notes how his movements are exactly like James’s. Aimee heads into the gallery before it opens to speak...
