Summary

Chapter 13 – One year after James’s death, Aimee’s shop is preparing to open for business. Aimee considers that she never thought she would be a single independent business owner - or be without James. She is proud of herself. Despite all this, she continues to wonder if James is still alive, and decides she must find a way to find out for sure without her parents knowing.

Meanwhile, Ian, who knows how to handle coffee, signs on to help train employees when Aimee’s only experienced barista suddenly quits to move to London. He even takes on regular work at Aimee’s in between photography expeditions, and arranges with Aimee to have some of his work displayed there. He also gifts Aimee with her favorite photo of his, Belize Sunrise. Aimee must resist her desire to give in...
