Chapters 21 through 23 Summary

In Chapter Twenty-one, Ever is back home. Riley asks what she's going to do with her free weekend. She points out that it's a teen's dream to have the house to herself without a chaperone. Riley brings up the subject of Ava, saying she believes Ava may have some answers about some of her questions. Ever counters, asking what Riley thinks and hoping that Riley isn't going to leave her. Their conversation is interrupted by Haven's arrival with the news that Evangeline is dead. Damen arrives, still in his wetsuit. He says he rushed from the beach as soon as he realized Ever was gone. Damen questions Haven about her tattoo and she says Drina has given her salve to help it heal. Damen asks to see it but Haven says it's at home and pulls away, saying she's headed to...
