Westchester

Westchester is a city in upstate New York. Westchester is where Nikki and her family live and work, and where Nikki attends school at Westchester Day School. It is also home to a mall and Nikki’s father’s extermination business. Westchester has middle-class areas and wealthy areas, the latter of which is where MacKenzie and her family live. Westchester serves as the main setting for the novel, with much of the plot occurring at Westchester Day itself.

Westchester Day School is the middle school where Nikki, Brandon, MacKenzie, Chloe, and Zoey attend class. Westchester Day is a wealthy private school which allows Nikki to attend based on her father’s handling the school’s extermination contract, and a scholarship.
