Chapter 79 - 81 Summary

Hale attacks Strathmore in the darkness, and the Beretta falls to the floor. Terrified, Susan does not know what to do. Susan calls out to Strathmore and immediately Hale is upon her. He grabs her in a headlock and presses her face against his chest. Hale holds Susan hostage and demands that Strathmore let him out. Hale will not give in to Strathmore, telling him that he saw the commander kill Chartrukian. He knows that he will kill him, too.

Strathmore denies killing Chartrukian but Hale does not believe him. He asks Strathmore if he killed the young Sys Sec to protect his secret, Digital Fortress. Hale warns Strathmore that TRANSLTR is overheating. He tells Strathmore that he needs to call in the Sys-Secs.

Strathmore tells Hale that all he wants is the pass code Tankado emailed to him. Hale claims...
