Chapter 19 - 21 Summary

Susan is concerned about David's safety but Strathmore tells her that David is safe and no one else knows the ring exists. Their conversation is interrupted by Phil Chartrukian who urgently wants to speak with the Commander. Strathmore is irritated that Chartrukian is there on his day off.

Chartrukian is surprised to find that Strathmore has seen TRANSLTR's run monitor and is not concerned that the machine has been running almost sixteen hours. Chartrukian tells Strathmore that he ran a virus probe on TRANSLTR and believes the computer has a virus.
