Summary

In Chapter 27, as a reward for saving the princess, the Celestial Emperor gives Xingyin the Crimson Lion Talisman. Xingyin reveals the true identity of her family, and begs the Celestial Emperor to free her mother. However, the Emperor and Empress are furious that Xingyin has hidden her identity, and feels that they have been tricked. Finally, the Emperor decides he will free Xingyin’s mother, but only if she retrieves four pearls from the four imprisoned dragons. She accepts, and prepares to leave on her journey to free the dragons from their imprisonment.
