Summary

In Chapter 2, Qibli and Winter have an argument about whether Winter is “moping” or “brooding,” and why they should go to history class as usual. In history class, a SeaWing named Pike is upset because Anemone left school. (She is the SeaWing princess and Pike has been assigned to watch over her.) During class, Qibli receives a message from Turtle that Darkstalker is offering himself as king of the NightWings. Qibli considers the situation. The NightWings are currently living in the Rainforest with a RainWing named Glory as queen of both the NightWings and RainWings. Qibli realizes the NightWings are in an unusual situation but is not sure Darkstalker will make a good leader. He thinks about the prophecy Moon issued and believes Darkstalker plays a role in that. Sunny, one of the school's founders, tells Qibli a SandWing named Ostrich is missing...
